Kalispell Glacier 53, Missoula Hellgate 52
Kalispell Glacier got one back for the Kalispell schools against Missoula Hellgate, with a Caden Harkins’ game-winning shot for the Wolfpack at the Knights’ gym.
Harkins, who finished with 11 points and was 4 for 4 from the free-throw line, hit his game-winner inside the arc, giving the Pack a 53-52 lead with two seconds remaining. Glacier (3-0 in conference, 10-1 overall) held on from there.
Glacier’s Jaxen Hashley led all scorers with 23 points and Brec Rademacher pitched in 14 more for the Wolfpack, which had only four players reach the scorer’s column.
Missoula Hellgate, which fell to 1-2, 7-4, had a late lead thanks to Derrius Collins. The senior had a team-high 17 points and was 4 for 4 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter. He also hit a half-court 3-pointer to beat the buzzer in the third quarter.
