Coach Mark Harkins has been the head coach at Glacier High School since it opened in 2007.

Coach Mark Harkins has been the head coach at Glacier High School since it opened in 2007, and as of the start of the 2017-18 season has coached them to over 130 wins.

Prior to Glacier High School, Coach Harkins has been an assistant basketball and assistant football at Flathead High School, head football and assistant track at Columbia Falls High School, assistant football, assistant basketball, and assistant track at Whitefish High School, and Head Football, assistant basketball, assistant track at Bridgeport, WA.  This is my 25th year teaching/coaching at the high school level.

Coach Harkins graduated high school from Snohomish High, and college at Western Washington.  His wife Christy has been a head volleyball coach/teacher for 23 years.  They have been married for 23 years.  Together they have 3 sons, Colton (21), Kyler (19), and Caden (16).  All 3 boys graduated from, or are attending Glacier High.

At the conclusion of the state championship season in 2016-17, Coach Harkins was awarded the honor of Coach of the Year by the Montana Coaches Association.
