Eagles outlast Glacier for Western AA lead

Kalispell Glacier whittled a lead of double figures down to one point in the second half, but some clutch shooting down the stretch sealed Missoula Big Sky the Western AA win at the Eagles’ gym.

Big Sky defeated Glacier 59-50 as the Eagles soared into first place in the league at 3-0 (6-1 overall).

It came in a balanced attack for Big Sky, four boys reaching double figures scoring Nick Yovetich led the way with 17 points — and a perfect 8 for 8 shooting — and Jake Tabish added 13 points.

Nick Wakai (11) and Drew Sheridan (10) were close behind.

Glacier (0-2, 1-6) got 13 points from both Dylan Ruggles and Jake Norberg.
