Jaxen Hashley of Kalispell Glacier earned the Most Valuable Player award at the Class AA State basketball tournament, completed over the weekend at Pacific Steel and Recycling Four Seasons Arena.
Hashley, who had eight points in the Wolfpack’s 46-42 title victory over Bozeman, earned six MVP votes and 77 points in all, 13 more than runner up Brendan Howard of Great Falls High. RayQuan Evans of Billings Skyview was third in the balloting.
