Glacier doomed by Hellgate

Missoula Hellgate went on the road and outscored Glacier 31-12 in the second half to post a 52-35 Western AA conference win Thursday night.

The Wolfpack (4-8, 1-3 Western AA) led 23-21 at halftime but went ice cold after the break. Glacier made 4 of 20 second half shots as a team and watched the Knights pull away with a 22-point closing quarter.

Hellgate (8-3, 2-2) dominated on the glass, outrebounding Glacier 28-13. Derrius Collins led the Knights with 17 points.

Glacier was led by Jake Willich, who scored nine points off the bench in just 14 minutes.

The Pack resumes conference play Friday at Helena Capital at 7:30 p.m.
