Glacier puts up fight against Trojans

CDA Press – POST FALLS — Zach Hillman had 22 points, two assists, five rebounds and three steals, leading the Trojans past the Wolfpack of Kalispell, Mont., at The Arena.

“I thought Glacier came at us with three different aggressive zone looks,” Post Falls coach Mike McLean said. “But I’m proud of my guys. Everytime they threw something at us, we adjusted for the most part. They kind of hurt us in the first quarter, but Zach just had a great game and was consistent in each quarter. He was just battling and was a warrior for us.”

Jake Pfennigs had 13 points and eight rebounds, Jack Millsap had 11 points for Post Falls (8-5), which hosts Coeur d’Alene on Tuesday.

McLean also praised the effort of Tanner McCliment-Call, David Bourgard and Jayden Gering off the bench for Post Falls.

“Both Tanner and David were fantastic,” McLean said. “Those guys coming off the bench are accepting the challenge and giving us good contribution.”

Taden Gillman scored 28 points for Glacier.
