The Sophs will be our first team to travel this season, and it is a good time to review protocol for checking your son out. If you want to take your son home after the game, please be sure to sign him out with Coach Wakefield at the conclusion. Any athletes riding home with someone other than a parent must have be cleared by Mr. Dennehy’s office before Thursday.

Soph athletes will be dismissed after 6th period on Thursday to prepare for their travel. Please remind your sons to talk with their 7th period teachers about missing class. Some teachers will want them to turn in work due before they leave. It is very important that we keep in good communications with the teachers at GHS.

Athletes on the bus will be expected to be on good behavior. The boys will be traveling with the soph girls on this trip. Boys and girls teams will sit separately. Also, we will expect that the bus be cleaned of trash, etc.

Finally, please send your sons with something to eat. This is not a meal trip. They will be needing some good, healthy snacks and drinks to eat and drink between lunch and their game at 6:00.

Thank You’s and Requests for Help

  • A big thank you to the parents who provided breakfast for the JV/Var boys after their morning practice last Friday. It was very much appreciated.
  • Thank you to Beth Rademacher for volunteering to be our booster club liasian. She is going to be asking for help for the booster basket. I would like a parent rep from each class to assist. If you are willing, please contact her.
  • Thanks to Rob Bowden for volunteering to help with the Wolfpups. This is a great opportunity to reach out to the community.
  • We still need help from Senior parents setting up Friday’s social.
